Clean, spacious and comfortable. Very happy with our stay and would recommend anyone to stay there. Loved the seclusion, yet close enough to everything we wanted to do.

Location, views, house ... wow!

Wonderfully quiet, private with a great view. Kathleen and Steve were very quick to respond with inquiries giving immediate answers. Our stay was to celebrate my wife and my 50th anniversary. Would definitely stay with Kathleen again.

Nice and relaxing stay!

Amazing experience! Clean and neat. Very private and secluded. Epic mountain views from the dining room, living area, master bedroom, and hot tub. Highly recommend for couples.

Loved the stay, nestled nicely in the mountains . Nice and private, the local restaurants were amazing. The hot tub was lovely, the kitchen was nice. The dual master bedrooms were incredible and both floors had an amazing view.

3 night stay. Views spectacular. Owner/management extremely responsive. No issues with the cabin. Everything we expected and more.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The house was extremely clean. The space was very roomy and the kitchen was well stocked. The views were beyond amazing! We also enjoyed the hot tub and works definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay in this cabin. It is very large, especially for just the two of us, and has really great mountain views. We arrived a few days after it snowed and were still able to make it up to the cabin, although 4 wheel drive was nice to have in that situation. The hosts and maintenance were very helpful in making sure we were safe in case of the approaching winter storm and could get off the mountain.

This was a great stay! Everything was very clean and just like the photos. The views were great and it was a peaceful, private location. The hosts were very responsive to any questions!

I would like to first note that the pictures do not to this cabin justice! is is absolutely stunning. Was a wondering experience for mothers day weekend. I will mention the drive to the cabin is steep, keep attention on the roads. We were able to access the cabin in a 2022 Honda civic, if that helps anyone with questions. very thankful for the emailed direction from the home. kitchen was well stocked, home was cleaning the hot tub, and views were absolutely amazing.

Miss Kathleen, Miss April, were wonderful. Always responsive to our questions, and numerous inputs on where we may like to visit. We will absolutely be back to the cabins they offered in the fall.

After checking out of an awful air bnb. We need something that was what the pictures looked liked and peaceful. We found this place and it was absolutely amazing!!!! This is the kind of place you want to stay at for a peaceful getaway. My family called this stay the best place EVER!! It won’t disappoint.. STAY HERE!!!!!! We will definitely be back.

This home was beautiful, with comfortable beds and furnishings, everything we needed to prepare a meal, and great views - especially from the hot tub! I've stayed in many Airbnb's and hotels and the cleanliness of the home was amazing. I would give 5 stars to the quick responsiveness of the host to any questions I had, clear instructions to find the home and local grocery stores, local highlights and of course, the fantastic cleaning staff. I wish I had stayed for a week!

Kathleen’s place was absolutely immaculate inside and out! The views are completely breathtaking and beautiful especially during sunrise! Never have I wanted to rise early on vacation until now! Every aspects of our trip and the mountain oasis home was spot on perfect & we can’t wait to book there again! Not only was the house a wonderful location the surrounding area had more than enough attractions to keep one busy for days!

What an amazing view and beautiful getaway. Well decorated, clean and spacious! The clear directions prepare us for arrival. They proactively communicated so I didn’t have questions. We had what we needed and more. We are thinking of reasons to return.

We had a quiet and relaxing weekend, as hoped. The view was great and the tree cover made the home feel private. We enjoyed hiking in the area, and our trip to Bryson City, which is very quaint.

Pro tips: Try not to arrive in the dark, the mountain roads are narrow and twisty.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay at Mountain Oasis. The cabin had all the amenities that we could have ever needed, and featured a spectacular view! It had the ideal location, with close proximity to Fontana Lake, Tsali, NOC, Bryson City, and more. We would love to come back!

This place was absolutely gorgeous! Super clean, GORGEOUS views, had everything we needed from pots and pans, k-cup machine and coffee maker, easy check in and out. Ample amounts of towels, Internet available (like they said, basic internet, nothing fast). Was able to even drink yummy water from the tap which I don’t like drinking usually when I go out of town. All together a great experience and I can’t wait to hopefully go back one day!

Beautiful view, lovely house, perfect for our family of four. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the deck each morning and relaxing in the hot tub in the evening after a day of rafting or hiking. Communication and check in was easy. We hope to come back again!

This cabin was perfect. It had everything we needed and more for our escape to the woods. Everything was clean and in working order and the check in/out process was easy. We were also happy we could bring our dog with us. Its just far enough away from the National Park to avoid the large crowds, but close enough to Bryson City where you can enjoy the small town vibes and restaurants. Overall, it was a great experience and we'd recommend it to anyone.

What an amazing cabin with incredible views! The cabin was so spacious and clean! We had such a great time there and would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in the mountains for a peaceful getaway!

Easy contact-less check in and check out. The place was beautiful! Great views of the mountain. Kitchen was well stocked with just about every appliance you would need to cook. Nice quiet peaceful stay. The house was just as depicted on Vrbo. If you want privacy this is the place for you.

The place was super clean and exactly as advertised. They had everything stocked and ready for us as soon as we got there. They had even turned the hot tub on so it was already warm for our stay!

I don’t normally leave reviews, but this place was amazing for my husband & our child! It was so clean & the beds were SO comfortable! The hot tub was also very relaxing, we will be staying here again.

This property was as advertised! Very clean, well looked after and spectacular views. It was in a somewhat remote area, but peace and quiet was what we were looking for. Communication with the host was easy, instructions were detailed. Bryson City, and surrounding amenities were easily accessible and the drive was alway scenic. Watching fireflies at dusk while sitting in the hot tub or walking the dog was an added bonus! We loved our stay at Mountain Oasis!

We loved our time at this cabin! We were meeting up with family, and this was a great location for exploring the quieter side of the Great Smoky Mountains. We had tasty treats in Bryson City, took short hikes to beautiful waterfalls where we splashed our feet in the river, and the farm museum at the park entrance got rave reviews from the toddler in our party. The cabin itself was clean and comfortable—both couples had enough space to themselves so we never felt crowded, but there was also lots of comfortable communal space for hanging out together. Kathleen was super helpful and promptly answered all of our questions. Highly recommended!

My wife and I stayed in this beautiful cabin a few days after our wedding. This place was the perfect spot to unwind and relax. The Mountain View’s are amazing, perfect location. Hot tub was a great added bonus. We will definitely be back!

This cabin is so beautiful and in an amazing location! Very private but not totally isolated. The cabin is up a private gated drive and has a great view across to the mountains. The home was real cozy and we enjoyed bringing our 4 legged doggie daughter with us! Gatlinburg is a nice drive up the road and Bryson city is a really nice little town with plenty of things to do! We look forward to returning!!

We had a wonderful stay in Bryson City, and had a terrific time exploring Nantahala National Forest. Would definitely stay here again!

This cabin is a true mountain oasis! The place/view is even more beautiful in person than in the pictures! We went on this trip with another couple and our golden retriever and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their vacation. The amenities were wonderful and the house was extremely clean. Also, the cabin is in a great location. We were able to go on some great hiking trails and visit some cute local breweries! I highly recommend the mountain oasis!!!

Great communication, great value, amazing place with an amazing view and all the privacy we needed. The pictures do not do the inside or outside of this place justice and we were blown away as soon as we walked in. It's within a beautiful town with breathtaking views every turn you make, and has fascinating history, with tons to do nearby. Will book again.

From the moment you open the front door you are in a true mountain oasis. I surprised my girlfriend with a long weekend for her birthday. Not only did it not disappoint, it far exceeded any expectation we had set. From the balcony, to the beautiful open upstairs, to the wonderful downstairs master bedroom, the hot tub, gaming room, and fire pit. It was all top tier. You truly don't need to leave the cabin! If you do, check out the food truck scene. The rice wagon was divine. Can not recommend Kathleen's cabin enough. If you are looking for a getaway off the grid look no further. It was a truly a magical experience from start to finish.

This was the perfect place to spend our one-year anniversary! The cabin was luxurious and comfortable, the views were spectacular, and we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after a day hiking or horseback riding. I highly recommend sleeping with the curtains open so you can wake up to a gorgeous view of the mountains from your bed!

The Pictures of the Mountain View truly does not do it justice. Also the cabin! So beautiful! Impeccable views from the lower bedroom to wake up to every morning. The cabin is spacious and very clean! We loved the personal touch of a little journal you can write your experiences in! The entire cabin just felt like home with the adorable decor. They provide you with everything you need for laundry, kitchen, toiletries, towels, etc. You are provided very detailed instructions about how to get to the cabin and contacts in case. You are also provided detailed check in/our instructions which makes the process seamless. We were given lists of fun activities and I would suggest take advantage because Bryson City has so much to offer and we greatly enjoyed everything we did off of the list! I was met with only kindness and fast responses to any questions. I hope I’m not forgetting anything because I can’t say enough how amazing this was for our honeymoon!

The property was clean, well maintained and stocked for an extended stay. Everything was as advertised. The location compared to the local destinations was a perfect tipping point as it was right in the middle of everything we wanted to do. A great place in N.C. to get some peace and quiet.

Just got done with a couples trip to Kathleen's mountain cabin and it did not disappoint. Her team was super accommodating and the bnb exceeded our expectations. Will definitely be rebooking again.

Kathleen's cabin was perfect for our family's vacation! It was easy to find, beds were comfy, and the view from the Master was wonderful! The location was great for any activity you wish to pursue; hiking/MTB/swimming, etc. Very close to Almond Marina/Fontana Lake for kayaking/SUP or jet ski rental. NOC was about a 15 minute drive from the cabin. Currently, the facility has a mask ordinance, so don't forget to bring one. Joyce Kilmer and the Tail of the Dragon are approx. 30-35 min drive. Plenty to do in this area, and there weren't the huge crowds you see in the Smokies. We will definitely be back. As an fyi, this cabin area was super quiet also, especially in the morning, which was lovely! Thanks Kathleen 🙂

While friends and I have been keeping strict guidelines with covid19 safety, we felt very safe to relax in being at this mountain oasis. Spent most of our time on the back porch soaking up the sun and view and also enjoying the lake. While the inside of this stay was quite wonderful and felt very safe in terms of the cleanliness and distancing from one another (Still have to stay safe inside). We were able to just enjoy each others company in the common spaces and separate rooms. We loved the black bear theme and the beds are super comfy. Really great place.

Beautiful home with spectacular views

I saw other reviews where they said the cabin seemed larger than advertised and this is true. We enjoyed the cabin and found it very comfortable. The full moon and sunrise views from the master bedroom were great. The dining area and tv room also had wonderful views. This is the most comfortable cabin we have stayed at. The mattress in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable also.

Kathleen has made an excellent space to feel like a true getaway! There are multiple board games in a cabinet, kitchen is fully stocked in order to make any meal and a great book full of suggestions and recommendations in the area. Can’t wait to return to this cabin or another with more family/friends to share it with! 🙂

My husband and I had a very relaxing weekend at this cabin. We enjoyed exploring Bryson City and Cherokee, then hanging at the cabin in the evenings. The cabin is actually bigger than I expected! We even got a little dusting of snow during our stay.

This cabin is gorgeous! The photos in the listing do not do this place justice! We enjoyed s'mores around the fire pit and watching the sunrise and set from the back porch. It is also a great location! You are within 20 mins in either direction of fun things to do at the Nantahala Natl. Forest, Bryson City, And Of course the Great Smoky Mtn. Natl. Park. Make sure to go tubing if you go during the summer months!
Would definitely recommend staying here.
