Kathleen’s cabin was beautiful. It was peaceful sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs listening to nature while looking at the mountains. Very clean!!!! We loved the robes. Definitely a personal touch. And the house had everything you would need in case you forgot something at home. Lots of games to play with family too.

Ohh and the best part was the bed! Omg it was super comfortable and had me snoring in minutes. The one upstairs was a sleep number bed.

Definitely can’t wait to come back!

Great place with beautiful view’s!

Mountain magic was the perfect getaway. The house was everything and more for our weeklong getaway. It was extremely clean and so cozy. It was exactly as expected. It was the perfect location for trips into the smokies and Bryson city. The only somewhat downside is that the house location isn’t super walkable. I have a 2 year old lab with lots of energy so walking him up and down the hill was tough, but otherwise zero complaints. For those staying in the fall and winter I highly recommend bringing a flashlight (and not relying on cell phone flashlights. It’s VERY dark!). Would definitely come back for another lovely mountain getaway!

Magic Mountain was a great cabin, that was in a great location. It was everything that was described and more. Very peaceful, private and great mountain views!!

This is a beautiful property! The view is amazing and it is equipped with everything you need. Driving in and out was easy and while the road was narrow there are two reflective mirrors on the blind curves. We hiked, tubed, shopped and rented a pontoon boat for 2 days from Fontana Boat rentals. We will be coming back next year!

We loved our stay at the cabin. It provides beautiful long-range views of mountain ranges. I would add to the listing that cell service (at least with Verizon) is very good at this location (that's not the case for many cabins in the area) and the wifi is very good, for those that need to log-on for work stuff. While the driveway is narrow, it is paved, relatively close to the main road, and easy to navigate.

We had a nice time at this cabin. It was clean and comfortable with all the things we would need. The newly black topped road to the cabin was a nice change from the rough gravel road we used at our last location. This was a good location to get to and from a lot of the things we wanted to see or do such as Wesser Bald Fire Tower hike, driving the Blue Ridge Parkway, spending time in Bryson City. We would definitely come back

My husband and I enjoyed a much needed getaway at Mountain Magic! The property was everything we expected and more. The views were amazing and well exceeded our expectations. The cabin was clean, comfortable and felt like a home away from home. We loved visiting the shops in downtown Bryson city as well as the NOC. We can't wait to return!

Mountain magic was exactly what we had in mind for our spring break getaway! The cabin was perfect and you cannot beat those views! It was very clean and cozy. We enjoyed the hot tub almost every day and ended almost every night with an air hockey match! The drive up to the cabin took some getting used to but we were pros by the end of the week. Some nearby activities we enjoyed were gem mining at ruby mine and white water rafting at the NOC. We spent 1 day hiking at deep creek. Highly recommend especially if you have younger kids. It's an easy hike with 3 waterfalls. Bryson City is a beautiful little town and had great restaurants. We would definitely book here again and have already recommended to friends/family!

This cabin was everything we imagined and more! Great location, clean and cozy, and so perfect for our family of four!

We enjoyed out stay and spent a lot of time at the cabin looking out at the beautiful view from the hot tub. The cabin was very clean and we appreciated the sleep number bed at night, as most cabin beds are not that comfortable. Also, we enjoyed fishing at the pond and caught a couple bass.

The location was close to Bryson City, where we would highly recommend The Great Smoky Mountain Railroad to visitors (first class is worth it!).

Definitely a nice place to relax and get away from our day-to-day!

We celebrated our 20th anniversary at this cabin and everything was wonderful. The views are amazing, the kitchen well stocked and clean and the hot tub was relaxing. There are 2 other cabins near this cabin but it remains private. It snowed our last night there and we were able to use the fireplace which made the cabin warm and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again!

This place is hands down perfect. The views are breath taking, pictures don’t do justice for just how beautiful this place is. The home was very clean and they add special touches to make you feel at home. The cabin is also well stocked with everything you need to cook and grill! If you love fishing me and my boyfriend loved going to pond close by and we caught about 5 bass a piece! We also enjoyed the welcome book, it helped us plan the perfect weekend! We went white water rafting and enjoyed some local bars and dinning! Bryson city overall is a beautiful place, you get Mountain View’s everywhere you go! I will definitely be booking here again, it is a home away from home!

Great weekend getaway clean cabin quiet area great hot tub with awesome view and fire pit for making s’mores and relaxing!

Our family came here in May 2020 and have a great time. We went to the Nantahala Outdoor Center and did the zip lining and ducky rentals which was exhilarating. The cabin was perfect. A hot tub was awesome after a rough day on the waters. We hope to be back soon.

Gorgeous views! Awesome amenities with the hot tub and fire pit! Kitchen stocked enough to work. Comfortable beds! We enjoyed lots of quality family time... great selection of DVD’s for a movie night. Had a blast playing fooseball.

Nice! The robes came in handy for getting in the house after being in the hot tub without the wet bathing suits. Saves your floors!

The cabin and property are as good or better than advertised. Avery nice quiet place with beautiful views. I would recommend arriving before dark as the road up is one lane and pretty curvy. The road is well paved and well kept . We enjoyed our weekend very much, may have to return for a longer stay.

We had a wonderful stay at "Mountain Magic." It was the perfect location for our honeymoon getaway.The home is very well appointed, with comfortable bedding and cozy linens. It has two fireplaces (one gas, one electric) that add to the coziness. From both the family room and the king size bedroom loft on the second floor, you can see gorgeous vistas of the trees and mountain range (the pictures don't do it justice). The home was very clean and had several small touches we appreciated, such as comfy throw blankets, games and movies for rainy days, and even a Crock Pot for when we wanted to have our chili ready for us after a long day of hiking. The master bath and shower was newly renovated and very clean. While we did not use it, the second bedroom (with queen size bed) looked very spacious and comfortable as well. The second bathroom downstairs is also spacious and well appointed. We definitely recommend this location to others!

The cabin worked out perfectly for our family of four plus dog. Great location near the NOC, zipline tours, etc. Very clean and well equipped. The kids loved the hot tub and foosball table. The adults loved the view.

We absolutely enjoyed our 4 night stay at Mountain Magic! It was such an adventure with beautiful views just driving up to the cabin. Everything is exactly as advertised (which if you’re skeptical like me, is nice to hear before renting a place). The cabin was very nice and clean. I loved every single detail right down to the cute little bear decorations. My boyfriend and I felt truly spoiled this whole weekend from being able to wake up and jump straight in the hot tub every morning to being able to enjoy such gorgeous views I otherwise would not be able to experience. We did not use the grill or the fire pit, but very much appreciated that it was accessible if we decided to. We had a lot of fun just relaxing and we never wanted to go home! I felt like I was in heaven these past few days, everything was so perfect. We hope to return very soon!!

I was just expecting a mountain getaway with my boyfriend but he ended purposing in this wonderful cabin with such a view! The house was so clean & had everything we could need. Mountain magic is private, yet close enough to a convenience store should you need anything. Zip lining and white water rafting was a super short drive away. We had everything we needed, the views were incredible and watching the sunset over the mountains from the hot tub was my favorite. We will definitely stay in touch for future bookings.

The cabin was so clean, cozy and full of anything you could need from cooking a meal in, to watching movies, to playing games. And, close to many hiking trails.

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend after he got home from deployment and we could not have asked for a better trip! The kitchen and balcony grill are set up with everything you need to grab groceries in town and cook at home while you stay. The mountains were so beautiful, and I was so happy the leaves were still orange and gold for the first weekend of November while we were there. The pictures we took every time we stepped out doesn't do the view justice! We enjoyed the hot tub both nights, and Saturday morning with our coffee. The stars at night, and the mountain morning sun- It was all just so dreamy! The cabin was extremely clean and well organized with instructions for guests about any questions you would possibly have, and even had maps for near by hikes and places to check out! We also enjoyed riding horses at the Nantahala Stables, and our stop in Bryson City when we first arrived (We had dinner at Smoky Mountains Winery & Wood Fire Pizza-- I'd highly recommend if you go into town!) All in All, I would rate our stay five stars, and we will definitely be returning as soon as we can!!

Let’s start with cleanliness. This place was immaculate. A perfect cozy mountain cabin, beautifully appointed with tasteful furnishings. The views from the deck were amazing. S’mores on the fire pit and relaxing in hot tub while watching the clouds kiss the Smokies. Doesn’t get much better than this!

Kathleen’s place was exactly what our group needed for the weekend. It was a peaceful and quiet escape from the city to the mountains with anything you could need. Kathleen was prompt with her responses and the house was very clean. I would definitely recommend this AirBnB to a friend.

Mountain Magic cabin was INCREDIBLE. Summer storms meant we didn’t get to go outdoors as much as we would have liked, but the wide selection of games and available DVDs, paired with the super comfy chairs, ensured we could still make the most of our stay. Wonderful cabin that is quite secluded. the views from the porch will make you never want to leave! The cabin was fully equipped and furnished, we were able to make dinner while there. The nearby towns are full of exciting things to do, but it is also fun to hangout at the cabin itself!

The cabin is beautifully updated and still with a cozy cabin feel. The deck has incredible views of the mountains as well as the hot tub. We went to the NOC which is 5 minutes down the road and white water rafting trip down the Nantahala river. It was such a great time. We absolutely loved this cabin and will be coming back again.

This was potentially my family's favorite vacation. This cabin is located in the peaceful mountains with activities like hiking, mountain biking, rafting, tubing and the national park all within 30 minutes. The cabin itself was very well stocked and had a beautiful view as well as outdoors area to explore. My children enjoyed fishing and hiking around the property nearby. I highly recommend this cabin. Kathleen was very attentive and responsive with any needs. We appreciate you and hope to return!

Mountain Magic is a Fantastic Place to Vaca!! The Views are phenomenal, and the cabin it's self is very comfy and accommodating. Tucked away on a mountain side that faces other mountains it's peaceful, tranquil and truly a nice place to stay.

Our family of four had a great experience in this cabin. Everything you might need is there. We enjoyed the beautiful views, the movie selection, the fire pit, and the overall atmosphere. The drive going up and down the mountain was exciting too. This cabin is centrally located, close enough to attractions, but far away enough for serenity.

Mountain Magic is a great retreat! This was our 2nd time staying and we definitely will come back. It is the perfect location - we can go to Deep Creek for a hike, into Bryson City to Mountain Perks for a cup of coffee and breakfast, schedule a local massage at Lakeview at Fontana, or just sit on the porch and look at that view... and do nothing. The house is very comfortable for 2 couples and 2 dogs and very well stocked. Don't delay... book your magical getaway soon.

Our family had a great Spring getaway to Bryson City and our new favorite cabin getaway - Mountain Magic. The pictures are accurate reflections of the property and it is very clean and well maintained including the hot tub which we really appreciated and enjoyed every day of our visit. The cabin is open and airy and well stocked with amenities including his and her bath robes. Kathleen was great to work with both before and during our visit. The cabin is easily accessible with paved roads all the way to the cabin yet still offers fantastic long-range views of the surrounding mountains.
If you like rest and relation, you may never venture beyond the area near the cabin. However, if you do decide to check out the surrounding areas, there is plenty to do in the Nantahala Gorge area, the Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC), tons of hiking trails, and a delightful small downtown area nearby in Bryson City with a number of good restaurants and plenty of shops. The people in town were warm and friendly which we found refreshing.

We visited Mountain Magic for the mountain view and cabin feel. We are so happy to have found a cabin that was enjoyable to stay at and is also located near many beautiful outdoor adventures. The cabin is close to Wesser Creek, which feeds into the lower portion of the Nantahala Gorge. The gorge itself provided an entire day of exploration for us.
While we were there, we made some maintenance requests, which were fixed the same day. My son loved his stay in the loft, my dog loved to listen to the mountain wildlife and sniff the breeze, my wife felt very at home, and I loved the view of the stars from the fire pit area and the porch.
We would love to stay again should we return to the area.

Me and my wife spent 5 nights at this wonderful cabin and could have stayed for a year. The view was absolutely stunning. If you are looking for a cabin with a view, this is it. The cabin was also very clean and everything in its place. We enjoyed the Hot Tub almost everyday we were there as well. Bryson City isn't too far away if you need food or groceries but far enough away that you are out of the city life. Kathleen will go out of your way to make sure all questions are answered. We will be back soon!

The best vacation spot we ever had! My wife and I were already planning of coming back even though we just got there. We love the place! The kids had a blast. I was able to take their eyes away from the gadgets with all the indoor and outdoor activities. The inside was clean and lovely. Has a warm, cozy and welcoming vibe to it. It has everything you need except for groceries of course. The outside is breathtaking! You are literally one with the mountains given that you're really on high ground overlooking the mountain range. The scene was amazing that you get occasional pauses just to stare it's beauty. A grill, a fire pit, a hot tub and an overlooking patio makes the outside fun and relaxing. Given a chance we'll definitely be back here in a heartbeat! Thank you Kathleen, Gina and all the staff for making our Christmas vacation a fun and meaningful one. Hope to see you all soon.

If you need a nice two bedroom house with a view that is very convenient to the Nantahala River and NOC, then this cabin will be hard to beat.

I was extremely impressed with everything about this cabin. The location was amazing and extremely private. The views were incredible. The hot tub was perfect .. especially at nighttime with all the lights of the house off... you can see every star in the sky. Everything was stocked well... there is every pan and dish you can think of. The robes were great to use while just hanging out at the cabin, especially after getting out of the hot tub. It was extremely clean and well-kept. I will definitely be going back. There is so much to do within about 30 minutes of the house. We went hiking and horseback riding... hung out at Nantahala brewing company. My favorite part of all though was just spending quality time in the cabin!

Winter Escape.
It was my first time renting a cabin and I really lucked out with this one. It had everything you could possibly want out of a cabin: spectacular views, cozy furniture, lots of lil board games and things to do if you bring kids, a wonderful neighbor, NOC is only few miles away, I can go on forever, l want to add a great management too...Kathleen always picked up when I needed her and she was such a pleasure in helping me. Two thumbs up! I did make a mistake of bringing some irresponsible campers that burned a bakeware. I truly apologize and I want to send a new one to replace. I really look forward to being able to come back again with my little 4yo girl.

Everything you need
What a great cabin. The view was magnificient, the cabin was well stocked, spending time around the fire pit was our favorite! Hot tub was clean (but could use stronger jets) wasn't slimy. The only con I would say was that the loft bedroom needed shades so guests could sleep in( flooded with sunlight early in the AM).

You will be happy to know that we did re hang the blinds that are normally on the eye brow windows! When one of them broke, I told my Husband we needed to hang them up again, and being an early riser, he said "No one comes to the Mountains to sleep in"....

Beautiful Venue and very well equipped
The view is the thing with a cabin vacation in the Smoky Mountains and this place has it in spades. The cabin has all you would ever need with a very effective BBQ which when we eat in was mainly what we used. Hot tup great, toasting marshmallows in the fire pit not a normal thing for us Brits to do so was great for us. Highly recommended

Paradise! Mountain Magic is amazing place to stay. The cabin has all the comforts of home and all the magic of a wonderful vacation. Having morning coffee in the hot tub with the sunrise over the mountains is nothing short of wonderful. We went hiking every day in the national parks and ziplining is a must at wildwater. Great memories, I will be back for sure.

Secluded Gem of a Cabin!
The property is exactly as advertised. Feels very secluded but not too far from civilization. Most of our time was spent out on the deck, taking in the views, reading books, enjoying local craft beer, and relaxing in the hot tub. The road was easily accessible in our Toyota Celica, paved and free of snow and ice... I suppose I The highlight of our 11 day roadtrip was staying here for 2 nights. Not far from the NOC and about 15 minutes into Bryson City (Nantahala Brewing Co. was a nice stop). We would come back again, just the 2 of us.

The cabin was a magic mountain stay in all regards. We had a wonderful stay and everything was as published and more. The view from the deck of the stars and mountain view was out of sight. We enjoyed the fire pit at night for roasted marshmallows and hot dogs. The outside gas grill was the best and very clean and set up for easy use. Access to the unit was an experience too. I felt like we were driving to the moon as the road was at blast off angle. Quite a climb at the end. Very private cabin location. Inside and out the cabin was just right. Kitchen furnishing was spot on for our use. Beds and bathrooms very clean and comfortable for all. Inside fire place was used and a nice bonus. The cabin was very close to everything we wanted to explore like Smokey Mountain train rides, NOC, Deer Creek park, Harrad's and blue ridge parkway areas. Only issue we had was there was old batteries in a remote control (we bought new for next guest). The check in instructions were very easy to use and made checkin very convenient. Parking was perfect and reservations very satisfying experience. All in all one of my favorite get away weekends. Thank goodness our checkout was prior to the snow fall. One last thing was the sun set view from the porch. It was spectacular and worthy of a standing ovation!!!!!!

We had a great time and the cabin was absolutely fantastic--just what we were looking for. The location was perfect--not too far, not too close--and the view was simply incredible. And all the amenities we could ask for were virtually right at hand. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

The Magic is Here!!!
I have traveled to many places always searching for "That Place." That place that would give me that peace that would allow me true tranquility to make "Health- Life Choices." Recently faced with another "choice", I set off on another journey to find an answer in "That Place." My journey included waterfalls, caves, rivers and lakes and at the end of my journey was "Magic Mountain." As much as I enjoyed all of the stops I made on my journey, I knew the moment I arrived at "Magic Mnt" that indeed my journey would end here. Of all the places in all of my life I have never felt that I had truly found "That Place." It was almost instantly that I felt just an overwhelming relief of all that was "life." I would sit on the deck for the first 3-4 hours just taking in all the "Magic" and in those few hours I felt so close to heaven and felt I had found "That Place" the place I had looked for all of my life. The place that would put me so at peace and allow me to feel a kind of strength inside, feeling like I had all of heaven with me and would never be alone again. "Magic Mnt" was truly magic for me. I was able to make "Life- Health Choices" and feel so good about those choices, feel that for once I knew what I had to do and I was o.k. with what was ahead in my life. I know I will make the journey back to "Magic Mnt." Im planing on returning with my grandchildren in 5 years to share the journey and the story of "Magic Mnt" the "magic" and life, it gave to their grandmother.

The four of us that traveled loved the cabin, the view and the area!! We are from Ontario Canada and when we arrived the shopping service that is provided had our food to make dinner and a cold beer waiting for us! We loved that part since we were on motorcycles and we would have had to go there first unload then go back out and get our supplies, having it all there was perfect! We all slept great each night and found everything that we needed was there. We loved the robes too!! It is a very central place for bikers that want to ride the winding scenic roads that are all around. Kathleen was always available and we really have no complaints, all in all was a fantastic stay and we would not hesitate to go back to Magic Mountain again!!
