This cabin was the perfect relaxing getaway for two. by Drew 07/01/2018
This cabin was the perfect relaxing getaway for two. The creek that runs alongside is wonderful and we really enjoyed taking books and coffee out to the large front porch. It's a very peaceful location and the cabin itself is very comfortable!
We had a great time in Bryson City and this cabin was a big part of that. by Michael G. 06/23/2018
We had a great time in Bryson City and this cabin was a big part of that. Kathleen went above and beyond to make our stay just right. Very cool.

If you are a married couple looking for relaxation... this is the answer.
What a wonderful cabin! by Carol 05/01/2018
What a wonderful cabin! Cozy, well appointed, and with spacious grounds. The trees and creek provide a secluded yet convenient environment. There was plenty of room to exercise our dog between excursions. The hot tub was sparkling, and provided a perfect place to view the stars while soothing tired muscles from long hikes.
Serenity Falls cabin fits its name. by Tanya 04/01/2018
Serenity Falls cabin fits its name. Everything - the hot tub, the beds, the fire pit, the creek, the porch, the kitchen (layout and supplies provided), and the well detailed instruction binder - made our stay relaxing and welcoming. We spent time in Bryson City (at deep creek), Cherokee, and SMNP. The hot tub and fire were a perfect way for relaxing and winding down at the end of each day. We even had the chance to see some wild turkeys in the yard. Thanks for the great cabin! We will be back!
Serenity Falls was a great experience! by Brian 03/01/2018
Serenity Falls was a great experience! The cabin was as advertised, and was the perfect size for us. It was in a scenic location, alongside a mountain stream and backing up to the Smokey Mountains. There were other cabins nearby, but we never noticed. We loved the hot tub, and our kids had so much fun. Kathleen and her team were very responsive, allowing us to check-in early and helping us w/ the garbage pickup when the local garbage center was closed. We hope to be back soon!
Look no further! by Kelly 03/01/2018
Look no further! You need to book this place!! We absolutely adored it here. The cabin is gorgeous, set back on a hill in a quiet area. There is a creek running behind the property and so much to do there. The beds are SO comfortable. Cabin was seriously the cleanest AirBnB I’ve ever had, I was thoroughly impressed. Our son loved having fires at night and we loved the hot tub. Kitchen is updated and very nice. We would 100% come back if we return to the area. The only thing I was sad about was that there was no pen for me to use to write in the guest book with all kinds of traveler experiences. I can’t believe I forgot one! Thank you so much to the hosts for an amazing, refreshing experience at your cabin.
Serenity Falls was the perfect get-away destination. by Savannah 03/01/2018
Serenity Falls was the perfect get-away destination. The house is situated in a secluded neighborhood just on the edge of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. There is a beautiful streaming running through the property, with a hot tub located right next to it. On the opposite side of the house there is an area where you can make a campfire. The house itself was very clean and welcoming. The kitchen was perfect, with updated appliances, and it was stocked with your basic cooking utensils. There are two bathrooms in the house, one downstairs and one upstairs. The bed was very comfortable in our opinion! Overall, we had a great experience, and I would recommend staying at Serenity Falls!
Serenity Falls is everything and more than described on the listing and pictured in the photos! by Mary 03/01/2018
Serenity Falls is everything and more than described on the listing and pictured in the photos! Charming, well appointed with an absolutely amazing natural setting! We loved it and only wished we had a couple of more days to explore and to experience all of it.....
Exactly as described - serene and peaceful, a great retreat space for a few days of R&R for a couple or family. by Daniel 03/01/2018
Exactly as described - serene and peaceful, a great retreat space for a few days of R&R for a couple or family. The cabin was clean and well-appointed, and is a short drive to Cherokee, Bryson city, and tons of hiking and fishing in the smokies. One could not be blamed, though, for just spending a day on the front porch with a good book listening to the brook rush by. Serenity, indeed.
I love this cabin and everything about it. by Abby H. 11/09/2017
I love this cabin and everything about it. We got in the hot tub this time and we really enjoyed our 5 days there
If you are in need of some R&R this is the place to be. by Anna W. 09/29/2017
If you are in need of some R&R this is the place to be. The cabin is beautiful inside and out. It is very peaceful and quite only sounds at night while we were relaxing on the front porch was the babbling brook and a dog barking occasionally. We loved watching the moon and sun coming up through the trees. We were blessed to have a full moon and beautiful weather during our stay.
We had an amazing time at Serenity Falls! by John W. 08/06/2017
We had an amazing time at Serenity Falls! We enjoyed everything at the cabin and in the area. We found the cabin easy to live in and experience all of the amenities! It was a great getaway for our little family of 3. We truly bonded and enjoyed being away from Newport News. Virginia. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. We will be back again.

The cabin was lovely, well equipped with kitchen supplies, toiletries and towels. by Tina L. 06/01/2017
The cabin was lovely, well equipped with kitchen supplies, toiletries and towels. My daughter and I loved the tranquility of the creek and whiporwil that sang for us every evening. Will certainly go back.
A little off the beaten path but that is kinda what we wanted. by Doug G. 05/13/2017
A little off the beaten path but that is kinda what we wanted. The creek right beside the cabin was very peaceful.
We had the opportunity to spend a few days at Serenity Falls and it was everything we expected. by rjbarnard 04/11/2017
We had the opportunity to spend a few days at Serenity Falls and it was everything we expected. Quiet and Peaceful. We were looking for a get away and we had a wonderful relaxing time during our stay. Sleeping at night with the stream flowing past the bedroom window. We enjoyed walking the area trails, fishing the river and dining in town.

The cabin was stocked with everything we needed and the furnishing were very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub out back on the cool spring evening and enjoyed listening to nature around us. When we contact the owner abut extending our stay another evening, they were very gracious and accommodating.

Thanks you for sharing your home with us. We look forward to another stay soon.

We had the best time staying in this cabin. by Anne G. 12/14/2016

Great cabin in a quiet location. by Paul C. 02/27/2016
Great cabin in a quiet location. The wife and I live in the Asheville area, but wanted to spend the weekend farther West in NC at a cabin with a wood burning fireplace. The trip was very last minute, so I wasn't confident we'd have much luck booking a place. I found the Serenity Falls property, which looked like what we wanted and had the option to book online, but I had some questions. I called Kathleen, got VM, but she called me back in less than 5 minutes. She answered my questions and confirmed the property was available for the weekend. I booked it and got all the information I needed within a couple of hours. When we arrived, the property was easily accessible in our 2WD vehicle and well maintained. The cabin was very clean and matched everything that the listing outlined. I'm a big Black Bear fan, so all the bear decorations made me smile. I got the fireplace going within 10 minutes of arrival (had to get creative with kindling, since there was a lack of small pieces of wood or newspaper) and kept it going almost the entire time we were at the cabin. Sunday was a beautiful day, we enjoyed the hot tub and listening to the creek rolling down the hill from the tub and the front porch. The kitchen is well equipped, so we did all our cooking/meals at the cabin. Our dogs were very comfortable at the cabin as well. We took them for several walks along Cooper's Creek road almost up to the trout farm. Some neighborhood dogs barked at them and some cows were curious, but no problems. We had a very enjoyable stay and plan on booking this cabin again in the future. Great place!

My Response

Thank you so much for the 5 Star review of Serenity Falls. I am happy you all enjoyed the cabin. It warms my heart that someone appreciates all my black bear decor! I hope your dogs enjoyed the creek as much as my golden retriever, Molly, does. My two favorites at the cabin are the front porch in the morning with a cup of coffee and watching the sun come up and the hot tub beside the creek. Thank you again for the 5 Star review. And look forward to you coming back to stay at Serenity Falls. Carlene
Private serene setting, excellent location to explore The Smokies and Bryson City. by Deborah S. 09/14/2015
Private serene setting, excellent location to explore The Smokies and Bryson City.
My boyfriend and I stayed at Serenity Falls for a week in the middle of September. The cabin was peaceful and secluded, but only 5 miles from Bryson City . It was clean, attractive, and had ample firewood and lots of towels. The washer and dryer were extremely handy. I am not sure you could get up the driveway without a 4 wheel drive vehicle in the winter. Lovely appliances. I would suggest a couple of extra blankets for chilly nights, a fire extinguisher, a working dvd player, and some sugar and powdered creamer since there is a Keurig. I would certainly recommend this property and hope to return next year. In the area, we enjoyed the Cork and Bean restaurant in Bryson City and also the Natalahala Microbrewery. The owner was quick to respond when my boyfriend had trouble locating the cabin. One other point I would make is that I think the number of the cabin needs to be displayed at the driveway entry. It would be very easy to miss the turn otherwise, especially at night. All in all, a relaxing, enjoyable stay.

Dear Deborah, Thank You so much for the Lovely 5 Star review of Serenity Falls! We appreciate your comments, and feedback. When you come back in cooler weather, please open the wooden Box located at the foot of the Bed, where the extra blankets are kept 🙂
Great get a way for Two! by Genie W. 05/16/2015
Great get a way for Two! Loved Serenity Falls. We wanted to be away from the hustle of everyday life and this little cabin filled the bill. Hot tub was wonderful and located next to a stream. The sound of the water was very relaxing. The cabin has everything you need (even a welcome wagon in the form of a very friendly orange cat). My only suggestion would be to add a table lamp to the bedroom night stand and one in the living room. We love reading at night and this would have been a great help.
Truthful Advertisement and Very Convenient! by Rose E. 02/13/2015
Truthful Advertisement and Very Convenient! My husband was working in Atlanta, a short 2 hours or so away & we met at the cabin for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary. I call this an investment in my marriage. It was very romantic to sit in the hot tub at night, the sky was pitch black & the stars glorious! The second night it was drizzly & we STILL went in to the hot tub & giggled like high school sweethearts. I put the luxurious courtesy use robes in a trash bag to stay dry while we sipped wine and planned our next get away. It was wonderful to reconnect. The cabin is very private as it is surrounded by woods. I sat on the front porch in my P.J.s and sipped coffee in the morning and an evening cocktail at night. I'm so glad we stayed here and not in a hotel! We will be back!
Owner Response:
Thank you so much for the wonderful review. I am very thankful that I have my mountain cabin and am able to share it with others. The front porch was my first favorite place to sit in the mountains until the hot tub arrived. I start the morning in the hot tub with coffee, and then the front porch and end it the very same way except with a glass of wine. Look forward to you all coming back to stay at Serenity Falls.
Very Happy with the Cabin, Setting, and Hot Tub! by Eileen S. 11/04/2014
Very Happy with the Cabin, Setting, and Hot Tub! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Serenity Falls. The cabin is off of a dead-end road so there are almost no traffic sounds. The driveway has an interesting curve just before a fairly steep incline, but we were able to navigate it without 4-wheel drive. The cabin was very comfortable and clean. No central air or heating but the propane gas heater easily kept us warm. The hot tub was great - especially as it was right beside the rushing stream. One warning -there was a very friendly dog from a neighboring house that kept us company whenever we were outside! We would recommend this cabin to anyone who likes seclusion in nature.
Serene Mountain Property! by Chris S. 06/30/2014
Serene Mountain Property! We stayed at Serenity Falls for 5 days and can't wait to go back. Nestled in the mountains half way between Bryson City and Cherokee, Serenity Falls has everything a vacationer could want. My kids played in the Spring water that cascades down the mountain in several waterfalls and thoroughly enjoyed themselves, We used both fire pits (one near the Hot Tub and Waterfall, the other in the larger clearing to cook, socialize and make Smores. We took a trip from Serenity Falls to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tn which was only an hour drive or so. We took the kids up the road to the Trout Farm, looked at how the Trout where raised but ran out of time to fish in their stocked trout pond. My family and I are looking forward to our next trip to Serenity Falls.
